Inactive window menu text

Tuesday, September 12, 2006 by Bebi Bulma | Discussion: Skinning

How would I go about changing the color for the menu text in the inactive window? On the skin I'm using the text is almost the same color as the menu background color and it's impossible to read. I'm not sure what I need to change in the colors section in SkinStudio. Thanks!

oh, I know this one!

In skin studio go to explorer, borders, titlebartext.

When you click on titlebar text, look to the right window and you will see

Active text.

Inactive text.

Click on either to edit them (the colour editor is right down the bottom, I have use the arrow to lift up the colour editing section)

you will find that on alot of buttons, you are able to edit the colours to your liking...once you explore and examin every little pilage of skinstudio, you will know what i mean

If it is a non per pixel skin it is where Kitty says.
If it is a per pixel skin you the setting is located at WINDOW BORDERS-per pixel/caption.

Menu text was the question, not Titlebar text. And I would assume we're talking about Menubar text, as well, since menus only open in active windows.

The menubar text colors can be changed in the 'Menus/Bar Items' section of SKS. It will be the same color for both active & inactive windows.
