Help With DesktopX

Saturday, September 9, 2006 by minja73 | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Ok, so I downloaded DesktopX and set it up, got it working fine, but when I load some themes, it doesnt show the bottom taskbar of the theme, it shows the default windows one. Default start menu, etc, more specifically the theme i want to use is Aero-XP. Why isn't it showing the bottom taskbar?

from the details:

Windowblinds skin shown is StealthOS by Mike Bryant.

The bottom taskbar (and start 'not shown') is skinned by a WindowBlinds skin.
You will need the program WindowBlinds and that skin to get that look.

Or you'll have to use DesktopX builder to create your own replacement(s)

According to the description of that DesktopX theme the Windowblinds skin shown is StealthOS by Mike Bryant. You will need to download and install the WindowBlinds program and also download the StealthOS blind for the Taskbar to look like the screenshot of the DesktopX theme.

A trial version of the WindowBlinds program is available here: WindowBlinds Link">Link

WindowBlinds is a "shareware" program which gives you 60 days to try it out. After that time if you wish to continue using it you must purchase it. The software will stop working after the trial period.

The StealthOS blind is available here: WWW Link
