That really bites. It seems to be a bit faster when perusing the library. There is a new option (or I've just never noticed it before) that allows you to go automatically into the mini player mode when you play files with certain text. I just put *.wma LOL
Some of the skins I've downloaded are showing magic pink now. That *should* be easily fixed.
Will check out how it works with my Zen Micro in a bit. See what else I can break.

Yes Most skins don't work with beta 2, I don't know why, but some skins are missing files or have lost their color.
I did remove WMP 11 Beta 2 from my system and I'm still using WMP11 Beta 1 until the skin issue is fixed.
To remove it just system restore to the date it was installed.

| Although WindowsMediaPlayer 11 Beta 2 is faster and it has cleaner design, aswell as new features, I would have to say that Beta 1 is better. |
Amazing to think that skinnability takes precedence over functionality and features.
At long last, media players on networked computers can share their libraries! AND devices!
I've got a large library, the new player smokes right through it. I like the 'compact mode' as opposed to the 'skin mode', though they should still have a skin mode option. I wonder why you still have to right click on the title bar to bring up important options. It's agaisnt the whole design of the player.

However, some notable problems...
-WMP is "trying" to become iTunes.. As noticable of a rip off it looks with URGE..
-I have roughly 80,000 files to import... And it errors out whenever I try (same as I did in Beta 1).. I'd like to see "massive library support". Or importation if you'd prefer that term...

Very slick, IMO.

WOW! And I though my library with 4500 songs was big...
