Mum and Dad got their letter from the Queen...

The old buggers celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Friday night.
We all went to the Windsor [an old swish Hotel in Melbourne - same place they were at 60 years earlier to the day] for dinner.
The Queen's letter was warmly received....not so sure about Howard's, however...
Jafo wonders if he'll make it to 60....35.5 to go..... [doh...the Queen won't]
Geez....3 life sentences....marriage must be one hell of a crime...

Congrats to your parents, however, they've done exceedingly well to reach their 60th.

I guess they did an okay job with their offspring too ...come to think of it.
You're a pretty tolerant fella, and a nice guy into the bargain.
[Meant sincerely, and in a blokey - backslappin' ~punch in the arm kind of way

Don't blame her! She's probably worried the bill is in the mail, given his wring every cent out of you stint as Treasurer.
