Ignored Application forces launched application to be ignored

Friday, July 28, 2006 by ElijahBaley | Discussion: WindowBlinds

I use RSSBandit as my feed reader. I have to create a per application do not skin for it as the tool bars render black. I have no problem with that. I do have a problem that when I launch a link from RSSBandit in IE or Firefox, either one is not skinned. Does the per application setting carry over to applications launched from the application that has a per application setting?

Thanks.

Go back to the Per application settings for RSSBandit, scroll down to the bottom... Advanced Features > (enable) "This exclusion is not inherited by any apps launched by this app"

Thanks. That worked. I can't believe I forgot to look at all of those settings. By the way, any idea why some skins don't give the ability to double click on the system menu to close the window. I have been in the habit of doing it, but in just about every skin, not all, this doesn't work. Is this an easy change via SkinStudio? Thanks again.

No problem.

I think it may have something to do with the per-pixel skins, but a hunch is all it is....
