Would like some help or advice

Hey, i am new to all of this os customizing stuff and have run into a problem. for a few of the bootskins (and logons) when i download them they are in a .zip format and i don't know how to make bootskin (or logon studio) detect them and add them to the list of bootskins (or logons) please help p.s i have tried opening the .zip file with the bootskin.exe but that doesn't work and have tried downloading them to the hard drive then trying to add them, that doesn't work either.

You have to use winzip to unzip the files, then you should hopefully get a .bootskin file for Bootskin, and a .logonxp file for LogonStudio.

If it is just a folder with images in it inside the zip, rename the .zip to .bootskin and .logonxp accordingly. Then double click.
Or you can move extracted folder
For Bootskins C:\ProgramFiles\Stardock\WinCustomize\BootSkin\skins
For logons C:\Program Files\WinCustomize\LogonStudio
