| lol... that's very promising answer... Can't you guys at stardock do smth? |
It's not a fault of Stardock that Proprietary Computer manufacturers like to alter their BIOS to only work THEIR way....

Have you tried all 3 versions of Bootskin?
If so, you're basically SOL as for as using Bootskin goes unless you can figure out how to change your BIOS.

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
If this is the first time you've seen this stop errors creen restart your
computer. ....
Check any new software that you may have installed .....
Technical Information:
*** STOP : 0x0000000A (0x80605288 0x00000002 0x00000008 0x80605288)

appears to be in XP and not the BIOS. I receive the following message:

got the same thing after i experimented with an ini file by giving the ProgressBarX a negative value (ProgressBarX = -22). strangely, since then SAFE MODE doesn't work anymore leaving me to attempt making the necessary changes MANUALLY while my HD is temporarily in another computer.
EXACTLY WHICH files DOES bootskin change or create if it DOESN'T edit the kernel?
(haven't been able to work on my computer since then, so, HELP!)

I apologize for the trouble you are having but honestly it really is per hardware that issues are had and there isn't a fix coming down the pipeline for the free software anymore. If the version you're currently using does not work for you and you've tried reinstalling, please try one of the other versions available at http://bootskin.com
Cheers
