What happened?

I can't download anymore. :(

I've been coming back for the past few days, trying to find a nice wallpaper for my computer. It says I'm a Citizen and from the information on the site says I should be able to download. But everytime I try now, all I get is your ad telling me to subscribe for unlimited downloads. I've been a long time guest to your site, was a member for 2 years. I now see the membership is only 1 year and you've instated some kind of limit on downloads for those not subscribed. This isn't saying I wont renew, but I just now found a new job, so it's still low on my priority of things to spend money on. Anyways, just a tad disappointed is all. Have fun....

The change occured sometime near the end of last year. A subscription to the site gives you access to all the site content as well as your own pages to post on. Status as a "Current" customer gives you access to all the site content. It's Stardock's way of making the site help pay for it's own bandwidth. The $19.95 amounts to less than most people spend on a Friday night out. It's well worth it. If your interested look here https://www.wincustomize.com/store/index.aspx

I have been a customer of Wincustomize.com I own an older version of the suite that I had for 2 years running. Just lost membership I think last year. So yeah, I know all about the membership options. Just sad that I can't download much anymore.

We've actually had the download limits in for quite some time now.  You just hadn't been affected by that because you had been enjoying the benefits of your prior customer status.  We do appreciate your past patronage and hope that will soon be able to continue to support WinCustomize by either purchasing a WinCustomize Subscription or any other product that is offered in the WinCustomize Store.
