OD Plus causing shutdown lockups

Thursday, July 20, 2006 by JGSaxon | Discussion: ObjectDock

I have been having problems shutting my computer down. It gets to the final screen and just sits there forever. I then have to hold my power button down for five seconds to shut it down completely. I then get the error that ObjectDock didn't save the correct files on exit and is loading the backup on starting my computer. I have tested this by removing ObjectDock and starting it manually and then unloading it prior to shutdown and everything works correctly, the computer shuts down. Any ideas?

have you tried disabling docklets instead of unloading?

I don't have any docklets running unless an animated shortcut is considered a docklet.

unless an animated shortcut is considered a docklet.

Yes, it is. Try that.
