The weather is so bad...

The weather's so ugly here, NOAA declared it null...
They probably don't want us to find out that the humidity equals the temperature

I should be alright, it's now 89.
So far, nothing close to Fredericksburg's high of 855 back in April.

| News starkers - 33c today, 35c tomorrow and 37c Wednesday - not the blighty one remembers eh? We get that every year, global warming, piffle! |
Totally nothing like the ol' blighty one remembers...like wow, temps in the mid 30's! Even the warmest of mid-summer's days in Devon were never that hot when I was there. How things have changed....though I'd be more likely to feel at home if I'm ever able to afford a visit to see my old stomping grounds. Would probably be more likely if I wasn't spending up big on puter parts/upgrades, etc.
| No...I'm still cycling. |
Yer mad, completely and utterly mad! Me, I'd be in a pool (indoors & air-conditioned) during 44c heat. Although, if it's training for the historics at PI, well I can see a method to your madness....was only saying to the wife a week or so ago that I'd like to go to the next historics meet, being I had a Matchless 500 single when I was 16 and really love the character of the old bikes.

- Go here & enter your zip code http://www.srh.noaa.gov/ifps/MapClick.php?CityName=Knoxville&state=TN&site=mrx
- After the page comes up, click browser so it has focus & press Alt + Print Screen simultaneously to get screenie of browser contents.
- Open graphics editor, such as Irfanview (I use) or MS Paint, & paste clipboard contents (screenie)
- Crop image to desired size & save - jpg format is good
- Go to ImageShack or PhotoBucket & upload image
- Copy image link from upload site & click the Image icon above the WC Forum Comments box
- After Image dialog box opens, paste link into box & click OK. Formatted link will be pasted into comment
NOTE: I use ImageShack, which generates several kinds of links for uploaded pictures. Scroll to last one, titled Direct link & use it
Good luck

I'll say, when Scotland is almost 10 degrees hotter than Devon, Cornwall...that was unheard of back in the 60's when I was a teenager. My aunt (mother's sister) went up to Scotland in 64 to manage a hairdressing salon, and she frequently complained of the cold while she was there. Geez, Scotland is experiencing a heatwave!

Knoxville is no longer a Null Weather zone. We now have temperature, humidity, wind... the whole enchilada. It may have been better not knowing
