Icon Text Backgrounds

Greetings all,
I've been using WB 3,4 & 5 for years and have always been very pleased with it's performance. I usually don't run with wallpapers but recently have found some that I like. I would like to remove the background colour from desktop icon text so it doesn't interfer with the wallpaper but can't find how to make this transparent. Any help would be appreciated. WB5 running MAC OSX Tiger (for fun)

Is the "Lock Web Items on Desktop selected? If so, deselect it to clear the text background color. Â
