ok so i just downloaded the free object dock and i thought you could get skins or whatever for it but when i download a skin nothing happens...so i'm not really suer what to do...is there anyway someone can give me some type of instruction on how to change my objectdock by downloading skins???

You may want to reword your post title; I have a mentally challanged sibling (mentally retarded) and to infer that he's stupid because of this limitation isn't very accurate. That word can be deemed offensive to some....

I had a cat named Spud, once. I've got one named Tater now, and although he isn't the brightest crayon in the box, I wouldn't consider him stupid... just a bit goofy ;O)~

Once you have the files in their proper place, you can use the "Dock Settings" panel (right-click the dock > Dock Settings) to modify the dock itself.
Right-clicking an item on the dock and selecting "Dock Entry Properties" will allow you to customize the dock entry (icon).
Note - you can drag-n-drop entries onto the dock from Windows Explorer to add to the dock as well.
