The default logons are working, but logons which I created by my self doesn`t work. When I apply my self created logon, than the Error comes.
I downloaded the latest Version and installed it. But not only for one time, I downloaded it again and again, but not one logonstudio worked...
Can anyone help?
PS.: I know, my english isn`t the best, but I think you`ll understand it ^^ I hope so...
Thanks for help! Eichi

Yes that is the correct download.
Eichi-BLUBBBEL, it may be an error with Bitmap_100, it must be a Bitmap as saved by graphics software, you can't just rename a jpeg to bmp, that will not work. If you still get an error or you do have a proper bitmap-100, post back and maybe someone who knows exactly what that error is will see this thread, it is something you have not done correct that will be causing the error.

To do so you will need a program called "Notepad++" which can be gotten here
[link="http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/notepad-plus/npp.3.7.Installer.exe?download"]http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/notepad-plus/npp.3.7.Installer.exe?download">Link
Once you find out what is causing the problem you can either adjust it or you may have a problem with the images itself and need to replace one of them. Usually a parser error as this is an image of the wrong format. But you need to open the UI file and see which 1 it is ...
Good luck and if you need anymore help just email at [email protected]

Downloads
LogonStudio (RC6) [9/4/02 - 1.8 MB ]
[Download]
Please note that while free, LogonStudio is unsupported. Should you experience display difficulties with a user-created logon you download, you can press Ctrl-Alt-Delete where the Welcome screen displays and logon to your account via the dialog that appears. Then use LogonStudio to change to another selection or the default Welcome screen"
maybe someone should tell me what is meaning of the top sentence ,the phrase "unsupported" does it mean some opearate system may not be surrported?is it should be noticed!

| As I recall JJ can't use it because of the language problem. Some languages it works fine with, but I'm pretty sure Chinese isn't one of them. |
Uhhhh..Ya Think??..
LoL..You have 2 choices..perhaps 3.. Change your OS's default language to Chinese... Translate the UIFILE to english...or give up on it and grab a different logon...

Shouldn't that be the other way around?

Missed it the first time around...it's old.
Newest is here: https://www.stardock.com/products/logonstudio/downloads.asp
Due to language, it still may not work.

1) uninstall logonstudio.
2) Change the language to English in the advanced setting in 'region and language setting' which you can find in control panel. Restart if needed.
3) reinstall logonstudio, and set the logon skin you like. Click apply to see whether it works or not.
4) restart computer. now the logon skin should work.
If you still want to set the language back to original, you can change that after the logon skin is already working. The new change of language will not influence the logon setting anymore.
Enjoy!
the poster's article i have read and tired to do this ,it seems efficienccy, but too many steps .thanks all your reply too.

If none work open logonStudio, Restore default XP logon, unistall, redownload, reinstall, then try one of the loaded skins first. If still no go maybe someone who knows what that error is will come along.
