Everyone at Joe User is just so happy and fun! You have to have a sense of humor with a name like Joe User!
I was considering starting a blogsite dedicated to the discussion of marriage. I was going to call it Harry Crabs. My wife balked, so I digress.
There is really no virtual community to compare to the honest, open perspective that Joe User has. There should be more like it. This world would be a much richer, more diverse place.
I, as soooooooo many others are just grateful to be blessed by the absolute intelligence that this community offers.
Thank you so much. And to do it all for free?! Wow!

Well, when us gits some new swabs... er, crew members ta 'oist that sails, I certainly 'opes us'll be back on tha 'igh seas real soon. I were rather 'opin' Killajosh, Rickalot n' that thar 2 o'3 might've come aboard of their own accord... but it be lookin' more n' more like us'll 'ave ter git tha press gang ter go n' fetch 'em.
I 'ears that thar kitty malone cooks up a luverly cake, so p'raps us can persuade 'er ta come aboard as well. In fact, I reckuns she'd swing a pretty mean cat o' nine as well, so her'd be tha perfect replacement fer Mistress Jennifer when some o' these scurvy swabs gits outta hand.

I don't 'oists no sails, and I don't swabs no decks! And I wouldn't be takin' orders from ye' if'n ya weren't givin' me free access to the rum kegs so's I don' 'ave enough will to protest! Ya takes me as I am; one day I may wake up sober, ta next I may be passed out drunk with two wenches, a chariot racing harness and a feather duster! But I can navigate by the stars, by gum, and I know every gamblin' port and whorehouse from here to Mada-flippin' gascar, and I has a way with the ladies what keeps us amply supplied!
But we gots ta get outta drydock afore I kin' put any of them skills to use. P'raps ya might need a fresh supply of wenches to bring more swabbies aboard?

Aaarrghhh... cap'n n' mrs starkers be on tha move agin.... we be movin' our home port to annuver cos tha gov'ner o' this un be a sellin' of it.
Not ta worry, tho...us 'ave found us annuver place wot is more better than this un... it be real modern, like. Didn't notice if it 'ad one o' them 'lectric dishwashers or not, but it don't matter if not... us 'aves rubber gloves and tha squirt be arrivin' from Tasmanier fer a while on Tuesday. Well ain't that wot ye 'aves growed up kids fer... puttin' 'em ta work fer 'e in yer old age!
Yes, it is all happening rather quickly... we found a place on day 2 of looking and were approved as tenants on day 3, so it's all good. Our rent here is paid up 'til Feb 2nd, so we have until then to vacate, which means we have time and do not have to rush things, as is often/usually the case.
At least this move won't be 3,500 miles like the last one, we'll be in the same suburb about 5 minutes away... and this time I have 4 strapping nephews to help me with the heavy stuff, while the ladies (and the quirt
) pitch in with the cleaning and etc.
We'll take some pics to post here once we're settled in.... however, I have some work to do now and I'll drop in later.

Yea, us 'ave scored ourselfs a nice new abode ta call home port... a place ta rest me weary ol' sea bones... 'ave 'igh tea n' cucumber sandwiches on tha patio.
Can't quite sail tha 'Sister' up t' tha front door - nor the back un if'n tha guvner's men be layin' in wait 'round tha main entrance - but it be but a short ride t' tha 'arber in one o' them thar car contrapshuns.
