ObjectDock Is Invisible, but visible in Taskmager

So I restarted windows yesterday and ObjectDock did not pop-up, I check task manager... it says its running. So I uninstall ObjectDock, and clear registry of all entries and install the latest version of ObjectDock. Same problem. If I click the icon to load it again i can get into the ObjectDock settings, but ObjectDock itself is still not visible.
I did some reading online and some people were saying IconPackager 3.0 was causing this problem. So I uninstalled that, repeated the uninstall/install process and the problem still remains. I even tried running older versions of objectdock, same problem. The only thing I've done recently is upgrade my video drivers. However unfortunately when I did reset my computer i had to hit the power button so Windows didn't shut down properly. So I suppose its possible something went corrupt during this improper shutdown. Can anyone help, any ideas?

I don't have DesktopX installed anyways, plus does that cache even have any effect on ObjectDock. I checked those folders I couldn't find any cache directories.

Are you sure? Do you have hidden folders shown? There should be a cache for OD as well as DX (see screenshot #3 in the tutorial)

I think I had this same problem. I reinstalled it but that didn't help. When it happened to me I went straight to the readme files and it turns out you can control some ObjectDock settings through the command prompt/DOS. It might be the autohide that's doing that to you; I never got autohide to work right anyway. But check the readme and see if that works. My advice: next time don't uninstall everything before you exhaust all your resources... and readme files DO help.

See if this helps..... open Task Manager, find Obj Dock and click end process. Don't worry about the warning msg. Re-start Obj Dock.
