| What Stardock programs run on Vista Beta 2 and what problems should one look for or expect. |
Yeah, now that I'm running the Vista beta, I've been wondering the same thing, though I'm in no urgent hurry to change this flashy new GUI just yet....except for perhaps CursorXP, if it'll run, to spiff up this plain lil white thing. Might give it a go shortly
Hopefully someone from Stardock can fill in the blanks as to what or will not run so we're not breaking anything
So far I'm quite impressed with Vista's look and feel, and though I've much more to do and learn, having not delved too deeply as yet, it's quite easy to use and hasn't presented me with any problems/issues that I couldn't handle...touch wood.
In my opinion, this is by far the best version of Windows yet, and even if the final release only takes it just one step further its a must have OS.

In general, some programs will work straight off. A few, such as WindowBlinds, have needed major work but we were aware that was coming and have been preparing for some time now.

I've heard that ObjectDock runs, but there might be issues.
The last DesktopX 3.2beta apparently is compatible with Vista now. (Haven't been able to try it yet)
Not sure about the rest. I wouldn't expect WindowFX to run, at least not in Aero mode. And I think Objectbar got an potential to be able to run.
