Dual Monitor - Object Dock jumps around wildly

Pics inside.

Greetings.

I am using Windowblinds 5.0 together with ObjectDock 1.20 Plus. Left Monitor runs with 1280x960, second one with 1280x1024. ObjectDock runs on the second screen and is positioned centered at the bottom. So far, so good ...

But there seems to be a problem. The little black triangle, that shows, what programs are active, ISN'T at the bottom too, but way up above the Dock. Every time I play a game with a different solution (lower res), the ObjectDock jumps up and runs in line with the black triangle. If I go back to the desktop, the objectDock stays at this upper position. Which isn't good. Any way to get it to stay at the bottom?

Here are some pics:

There is a known bug with DirectX that causes strange behavior of windows on the secondary display when resolution changes are made on the primary... http://www.realtimesoft.com/multimon/faq.asp#ScreenShift

I have run into all kinds of problems when running 2 monitors @ 2 different resolutions...on my machine, OD+ ran on the larger monitor, but always docked iteself @ the smaller resolution, which made the dock sit about 300 pixels above the edge of the screen (similiar to your screenshot)...moving the dock to the other monitor docked it to the edge ok, but all the mouseovers, seperators, and active indicators stayed on the other monitor *shrug*. A new monitor allowed me to keep both monitors @ 1280x1024, and problems solved! I don't think games have anything to do with it...

OD+ is hardly the only app I ran into to do this though...Photoshop especially liked to pop up it's dialog boxes offscreen. Very frustrating...I will have to check out virtualtrain's link above...although my problems were solved by changing both to the same resolution.

Just checked out the above link - WOW!! chockful of useful info...thanks virtualtrain!
