Can you be a little more specific?  What programs are you talking about?

ObjectDock, WindowBlinds, DesktopX Themes, IconX + the others; (i.e., World Flash ticker (weather) and other weather programs).

I have 512 RAM, a 2.4 CPU, run DX, WB, OD, IP, DXWs, DXOs, can't figure out what settings your talking about? Never had any trouble with any of the program running at the same time, have had some trouble when MSoft sends updates, takes a while sometimes to work out a few bugs, i.e., a few reboots..........

System Properties/Advance/Performance Settings/Visual Effects & Advance settings. No real problem, just want to set to the max for best results.

The best advice is to just try it.  I have tried it on a system with less specs and it ran fine.

With the exception of changes which may take away from Stardock software, please comment on these possible changes: http://kadaitcha.cx/performance.html

Followed most of the suggested/recommended from the link and have found overall faster, quicker, or as one person called it--snappier reactions! The difference is like waiting for pages to turn on the Internet using dial-up and there-it-is using DSL.

Additionally, by changing the Total paging file size for all drives to Custom size Initial size (MB) to 2560 and Maximum size (MB) to 2560 we see an even faster response time all-away-around.
