Hmm, you may be right Jafo. According to what I just read it doesn't get released till tomorrow... or was it wedsday?

Rumor has it that WMP 11 beta will be available on Wednesday, May 17th from Microsoft site.

i am using it now and it rocks!!!!! but yes the 17th is when the beta comes out ive read it on many sites!!! WOOOT the road to vista is on its way!!!

I'll confess to downloading this new version from desiReX's page. And I REALLY like it. I have been using MusicMatch Jukebox for years now but may switch to WMP after setting the new version up. It starts up quickly and I like the way it will tag your entire library including the album art. Very well done from what I can see, and hear, so far.
