Rotate Backgrounds with position?

There are many backgrounds that are not symetrical, so that when you place ObjectDock on any of the 3 other sides of the screen the background either starts bugging out or just looks really wierd. I've been manually editing my favorite ones by rotating the images and changing the .ini, but it makes for a very long backgrounds list and is time consuming. Is there an easier way that i'm missing? if not, could i suggest future versions rotating the backgrounds along with changing the position? I would be very gratefull

not all dock backgrounds come with sides.
the nice artists mention that in the description.

FWIW, I find that I often have to tweak the background.ini file offsets & positions to get the background to display completely - i.e it is quite often off the edge of the screen. I'll try to do some screen shots as examples.

Chris...In many cases I can't really have the edge show completely because if the icons bleeding over onto the graphics in the dock itself...but when I have a very thin edge I usually try to get the edge of the dock to show. I could extend the transparency of the edges...but that would also increase the images size. I try to keep the images as small as possible.
As far as side docks...the one thing I don't understand is that I provide the side dock images with my docks...but for whatever reason you still have to stretch & shrink the image to show properly. This is something I wish they would fix.

Yeah, i realize that some docks are meant to be just in one position, like shelf-like backgrounds, but there are a lot of common backgrounds that don't have sides, and i think the option to rotate the background as well as the location would be nice. Here are a few screenshots to demonstrate the current stretching of backgrounds without rotating first, as well as some of "bugging out" things, which seem to be dividers off on the side of the screen that might come from my not using the taskbar?

Looking at the ini files again now (its been a while, i had switched to RK launcher for a while till this update came out) and now i see that each background can support different locations, and its just whether the creator programmed for each contingency.

Folken09...I see what your talking about now. I've seen this especially in docks that were made to have background & foreground images to them. If you like that particular dock I can fix that for you if you like.

It got me thinking while I was at work and last night I went and played around with some docks I'm working on now and I corrected this little glitch...now I only have about 160 more docks to go and fix. So thanks bud! I'll be saying your name quite alot

Chris....I really want to thank you for making me take another look at why this was happening. I had wrestled with this when I first started doing these docks and for the life of me I could not get this bottom border to show on tabbed docks that had one long tab across the top. Well, after looking again I realize now why it wasn't working. I had just assumed...wrongly of course, now that I see why it wasn't working...that I had somehow used this - instead of this = and not realizing it and rendering the tag inoperable. When I was writing out the code for one dock that was giving me a hard time I didn't notice that one thing. So I just assumed it was a glitch in the coding. After looking at all the docks again...there weren't really as many as I thought there might be...and most of them aren't worth re-uploading since it is just a simple line at the bottom and no one else noticed it...Shhhhhhh! There were a few though that I will re-upload...forgot which ones though till I go over my list again.

The fix for them is really easy.
Just change whatever the OutsideBorderLeft/Right/Bottom/Top = ? is to 1 and add the ContentbufferLeft/Right/Bottom/top = making this amount whatever it was in the OutsideBorderLeft/Right/Bottom/Top = ?
That will fix the Left/Right/Bottom/Top side from not showing. And this is only on tabs with one long tab rather than individual tabs, the individual tabs are ok.

Folken...if you have some docks you like using...you can either ask the original author to fix them or if they are not willing to you can ask them if its ok if I do it for you.

thanks for all the help. I've been trying to fix them myself, but when i take a dock with just the bottom defined, rotate the pics and add to the ini by just switching the left/right values with the top/bottom values it isn't working. i have to make up all new values by trial and error. I'm also a little confused as to the difference between LeftWidth, OutsideBorderLeft, and ContentbufferLeft. Is there a place that lists their definitions?
(the one i'm playing with now is the Tubular one, which the creator appears to have also had trouble making vertical...)
