Show running tasks & system tray

Why can't I show both running tasks and the system tray in a normal dock?
If I Create a new dock, and go to the "Dock Contents" section, I can click on "Show running tasks" OR "Show system tray icons" but not both.

Yeah, I guess Apple has a copyright on software that can do what you want without spending 4 hours configuring it.

OK, some questions then: how do you (for example) change the look of the separators in the Mac Bar? Or the background? Or the zoomed icon size?
Or is it more accurate to say your comment refers to customising OD to look like the Mac one?
I know it doesn't take 4 hours to make it work - it's always worked for me right after installation...

I also would like to be able to see the system tray and running tasks at once. I bought OD Plus for this, only to find out it isn't possible. As I don't need all the other features of Plus, I'm a little disappointed now...

If you have OD Plus all you do is make 2 docks - I've been running it this way for ever!

Create two docks, normal or tabbed. One shows systray, one shows running tasks. Put them next to each other. Done.

Hello,
I have bought today ObjectDock Plus and installed the 1.3 version.
In my Docked Tabs, in my Tray tab, I can't see anyone of my programs running in systray. What is the problem ? What can I do to resolve it ?

First install SDC. It is a download manager for Stardock products and can make your life much easier. Click the link in the middle of this page to download it: https://www.stardock.com/products/sdcentral/
Once you have it installed go to Tools | Settings. Click on the "general" option and check the two items in the uppermost section that mention MCP.
Reboot and let us know how that worked.
