It's about a year old, as well.

I won't tell you it's broken if you don't want me to......

Why would a bad 'pixel' or whatever, be skinnable?

Time to kick back & watch!

| When did it start? Did it appear all at once or develop gradually? What other changes occurred around that time-- software, power surges, new hardware, etc? Is there any change if you use new wallpaper or if you put an object in that spot? |
Noticed it last night.
All at once.
None.
It sits over wallpaper and has the color of whatever skin I am using.

Share and share alike, I always say.

Too bad there's not a way to transfer beer to Yrag-- something like FTP...

Heh, it's a new protocol.. BTP (Beer tranfser protocol). We could even have a secured version SBTP. I like it!

Would it gradually get more & more spots?

I had spyware on one of the kids PC once that looked similar. It was an app sized very, very small.
Open up taskman and see if there are any "odd" processes running.
Open msconfig and see if there is anything set to start that you don't recognize.
Reboot in safe mose and see what you see.
Change your resolution and see if the "bad pixel" stays in the same spot.
