WB5 Theme Settings Problem
Fonts within application windows...

I'm a long-time user of Object Desktop, and a big fan. A while back I installed a new WB5 skin and it changed the default font used inside the editor portion of any WYSIWYG window to an italic typeface. The skin was Artwork by treetog. Attempts to correct this by installing other skins have not corrected the problem. Where and how can I fix this, as it is REALLLY annoying!

Okay, have to put cause aside for the time being, and focus on correcting stuff that is screwed up. Thought it had to be WindowsBlinds related (or something in Object Desktop), as that was the common item throughout. I'm talking about stuff entered into various areas of Outlook, Thunderbird, QuickBooks, SnagIt, etc. Even type entered into Xara's X or eXtreme! (Illustration programs.) Something has somehow changed the default proportional typeface for my system from Arial, over to Arial-Italic!!!

i noticed that if i right click the desktop and go into properties, then go into appearance, advanced, more advanced and change my desktop icons to use arial itallicized, arial itallicized shows up everywhere

Sir Bichur is on the right track, now that you've explained a bit more - I thought you initially meant only the window text of WYSISYG editors.
Yes, if you change the Desktop Icon text to either bold or italic, the text the fixed parts of Outlook Express (the left tree pane) and other apps which draw their text settings from that (Windows Explorer itself, too) will be either bold or italic.
There is a setting in WB in Fonts for Classic Widgets (I'll never understand the name) for the Icon Title Font, which I'll bet soup to nuts is the Desktop Icon Font - changing that will have the domino effect you describe and once it's changed it will stick until another skin or you the user change it back.

I know that in MSWord, the WYSIWYG font is set in the normal.dot template file.
