You're not exactly unique here, you know....considering Wincustomize.com is all about 'graphic design'.
If you delve more closely into what skinners actually do with these skins you'll find......

most people create for what they use.
switch to builder, open your graphics program(s), put those artist's skill to use. there's some others that could use your graphic expertise and screen resolution
