Icons positions

Sunday, April 2, 2006 by MzGaz | Discussion: ObjectDock

How do I get the icons to actually look as if they are sitting on the the background of the dock instead of a little in front of it. I want then to look like they do in this "ScreenShot"

Mine don't have any shadows or sit like they are sitting on the background.
Thanks, Mary

I use ObjectDock Free so I could be wrong:
I believe the shadows come from the icons
Look at the left and right side. The one's in the middle are not sitting more 'on the dock', they've been raised up via the magnification on mouse over.

That's a nice background. Reminds me of Alien dock: https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?Library=29&skinid=4747

It is the image used for the background that makes the shelf look.
I have some shelf style backgrounds here if you would like to see how the image needs to be for the look you want http://cavan1.wincustomize.com/Gallery.aspx?SID=6311&LibID=29&view=1&sortby=4&sortdir=DESC&p=1&advanced=0
Bichur is correct about the shadows, they are part of the icon, some use them when create icons some don't.
