Chicago Sun-Times likes Object Desktop

The Chicago Sun-Times published a nice review of Object Desktop today. It's a good read from a big paper.

Great article

But now I have this disturbing image in my head of Frogboy and Jafo in tiara and tears.

Overall a nice pat on the back for Stardock, and may have further reaching effects since the paper is held in some accord with office personel and management. I can remember how much the IT team at my old job hated my PC after I installed WB on it, they just couldn't figure out where anything was! But that just shows just how much they understood things!

But I digress!

My only issue would be with the following sentence (highlighted):
... If you head over to www.stardock.com you'll encounter more than a dozen cheap individual enhancements, most of which can be purchased in a $49 bulk-pack called "Object Desktop." ...

I think this is kinda demeaning, wouldn't "resonably priced" be a better way to put it? Especially when you can get so much in the whole OD package!

Anyway, a great heads up for the masses!

Yet, I too have to agree with Po Smedley:
...now I have this disturbing image in my head of Frogboy and Jafo in tiara and tears.

There's not a whole lot of competition in the "Most Exciting Windows Utility" pageant, but rest assured that Stardock walks down that runway in tiara and tears.

That is a great little bit of writing.

Good article. It touched on some really great highlights (missed some others-where was mention of IconPackager??? I love that app). Congrats on the article.

It's great to see such recognition for Stardack, and from a major Newspaper, no less.

Well done Brad and crew....you deserve it

But now I have this disturbing image in my head of Frogboy and Jafo in tiara and tears.

Po'.....Jafo in tiara and tears??? I'll have some of what you're on

Youre more likely to see Jafo wearing his bike helmet and grinning like a Cheshire cat....or alternatively, a swaggies hat with corks dangling from it and 'Aussie' Ugg Boots

How does the swimsuit competition portion of the "Most Exciting Windows Utility" pageant go down?

Wait. I don't think I really want to know.

Let's hope AP picks up the story.
