Folder Selector docklet

Looking for additional features

Thursday, March 9, 2006 by RobF | Discussion: ObjectDock

I am using an excellent docklet written by Citizen SIHY called Folder Selector. By right clicking on the docklet you get a programmable list of folders in windows explorer, or start an actual file, such as an .xls file.

It would be even better with two additions - IMHO
1) Ability to create a short name for a folder or file, instead of showing the whole address
2) It always starts Explorer in the non folder view - would like to see same but with folder view

I am not a programmer and I don't know how to get hold of SIHY. If anyone has any ideas - this would be an even more useful docklet

Thanks,

RobF

I am unable to find this docklet, where did you get it? Would you post a link to it.

Search "Folder" in Wincustomize and use advanced options to select docklets.

Rob,

See the docklets page for a link in the comments to download a version with a short name option.

Docklet's page (click).
