How to reduce the space around a separator?

Friday, March 3, 2006 by cento68 | Discussion: Docks

Hi,
I've been trying to reduce the space around the separator, so that the distance between the icons is not as big as the one shown in the picture. I've been fiddling with the background.ini file and .pngs but not really managed. Can anyone tell me how to achieve this?

Thanks in advance!

I think the spacer occupies the same space as the icons. If the icons are set to 48 pixels, the spacers is 48 pixels. This is just a guess, but I don't think you can do anything about it.

you can always get rid of the separator...never understood the need for them anyway

I had created a big seperato space, by adding separators, and they had piled up. I just started deleting separators from the space, untill it got down to size. Maybe that has happened to you? I find them useful, btw, on zoomers.

I would agree with Koasati but I also think this is something that is more related to the code behind OD and is not really anything you can edit (unfortunately). If I'm wrong than I apologize, but I have a feeling that I'm right.
