OD+ freezes when trying to change images.

I've tried everything, even deleting my entire pevious dock and reinstalling, but I can't even remake my old dock because OD+ freezes whenever I try to select an image for anything on the dock.
I've been trying to fix this for a while now and I'm getting really frustrated.

does it do it with docklets disabled?
prior to reinstalling - did you clear the OD cache?
what pic format and what size of pic?

My guess is that if you remove the docklets it will stop freezing. For whatever reason, I've found that some docklets are the culprits of this freezing problem.
