Couple of issues with OD plus, please help!

I have ObjectDock Plus, and it works fairly well. There are just a couple of annoying issues.
Firstly, it seems to randomly shut down for no reason at all. It just disappears with no error message. All I have to do to get it working again is reload it, and it loads up fine. It's just very annoying to have to do this. It happens 2 or 3 times a day.
Secondly, sometimes the way the icons respond to being clicked changes. Instead of loading up the program, eather nothing happens, or a right click is simulated instead of a left click. Again, the problem is fixed by closing and restarting OD, but it's just annoying.
Other than that, everything else seems good.

About the randomly shutting down, I have got rid of a few of the docklets, but I don't have many running anyway. I'll see if it happens again.
I can't reliably make OD reproduce the effect of clicking on icons not work, but I think it might have something to do with using the icons in the tabbed dock I also have set up. Has anyone else had this issue?

I have 4 docks, one tabbed with all my program shortcuts that I use *all* the time. I've never seen this happen.
I've used OD since it first appeared and this is the first time I've seen this mentioned... FWIW

It only takes one to cause problems. 
I've never seen or heard of the other problem either........ but it also may be a docklet problem. Finding the problem with the random shutdown, may fix the other.

I've had all docklets disabled for a couple of days now, and all the problems seemed to have gone away. Now I guess it's just a case of adding them back one by one to see which was causing the problems.

I've had the "disappearing" act occur on a fairly regular basis, though not enough to pull my hair out - yet. I have no docklets running - never have. And I'm running Plus - since the beginning.
I have also had a few issues with dock entries not working recently. I placed most of the entries there by dragging shortcuts from the desktop. And several I created on docks and originally had them pointing toward the Program Files folder .exe files. Till someone from Stardock - in the Usenet newsgroup - told me that I should always point dock entries at the Start Menu shortcuts. So I did that. I installed ObjectBar a week ago and after I got it working (well - kinda working, if I can call it that!). Then I removed all the shortcuts from the desktop. (I simply stored them in a folder for the time being, so I quickly return them if or when OB blows up completely). Then, about half of the dock entries would not work, as they now say that they are pointing at the desktop icons!
I think that dragging desktop icons onto docks should be openly discouraged.

I think the random dissappearing was due to the system tray docklet (not showing the system tray). The mouse clicking not working was due to a start menu docklet i had.

You are aware that you can lock the icons so they can't be dragged?

Dragging icons off the dock isn't what he is talking about, Garry. He is talking about dragging to the dock, from the desktop.

Have you got any docklets running? eg weather, clock, mail notifier? If so, it could be a likely culprit - remove them 1 by 1 until the problem goes away to identify what the cause is. You may need to search for an updated or alternative version.
What you describe is not usual. Can you reliably reproduce the effect? If so, you'd be better off emailing Stardock support and describing it exactly to them. Do you have any other hotkey utils or similar running that could be interfering?
