I have to check it out yet, but please note that Tom (Lightstar) has a skin with the exact same name.

One skin may overwrite the other in WB

Thanks for the great comments, guys!

I meant no disrespect to Lightstar and in fact I admire his work.

How does one go about changing the name of a WB without messing up all the image paths and such?

Comment #11 Saturday, August 10, 2019 6:36 PM

Hi Robert, it still downloads as Moonbase Alpha.

If you want to change the name, the easiest way is this: (I assume you already have installed your skin on your own pc, right?), open Skinstudio, select your skin as it is now still called 'Moonbase Alpha', and click 'open'. Skinstudio then asks you if you want to make a copy, or edit it directly, choose 'copy', and choose another name like 'Space 1999'. Skinstudio then first makes an exact copy, this takes a few seconds, after that you can select the copied/new skin 'Space 1999' in the skins list on the left. This time you choose 'edit' instead of copy. When it opens, you go to File, and choose 'make a WBA package'. After his Explorer automatically opens a window, there you'll find 'Space 1999.wba'.

It does, indeed. I never would have figured out SKS without it!

I grew up watching this show.  It was great - and the theme still holds up 45+ years later.

Clearly the best TV sci-fi themes of all-time - seasons 1 and 2 !!!!
