Useless comment, really. It is what it is. Namely 8 for 7. I feel I have achived my objective especially seeing as I'm a skinner and designer myself and I had to check myself the entire time when I felt an urge to improve on the design.

I'm still on 7. Haven't used 8 much. My daughter has it on her rig and doesn't like it. I told her she should let me play with it and I could help her make it better. She doesn't want me to. Anyway from what I can see 8 for 7 pretty much has it covered. I think it's very well done. I appreciate the effort. The dark version is my favorite. With the right wall and dock and widgets it's very nice. Thanks for the great skin!

Thank you Tim. Excellent job.
I like minimal skins for everyday use. I also like to have skins that imitate the aesthtics of every major OS. Just a fun way to bounce from OS to OS without the pain of a complete overhaul. Your Ubuntu 11 is IMO the top Linux option. This adds a Win8 option with the attention to detail that comes only from someone who carefully practices his craft.
Outstanding work Thank you for sharing it.

Folks wanted a Windows 8 style and you delivered.
As i know that this was done as request i would like to give you five times the amount of available rating, sadly i can not rate 5 times in a row.

PS: while picking the subsytle i notcied that one substyle has the wrong title (dark n thin) is actually the thicker version

It might look like that because of the text margins on the "thin" versions. I increased them to make the taskbar an even 30 px which prevents the startbutton from going over the top edge when using small taskbar icons. If you apply the thin versions and use large icons, it will of course give you a taller taskbar.
