Don't pay attention to that; it's a recipe for defeat.  Stars are actually worth 2 points, so according to my math, you have 5 out of 10 points.  I've been skinning Windowblinds for 4 years and have yet to get 5 stars (or more correctly STAY at 5 stars). 

Your work is unique (not average) so the people who prefer average (or NOT unique) aren't going to rate your work as high as they would something that was less flashy.  But that's not who you are as an artist, so pay no attention to what you think the masses are saying to you.  Listen to your gut--what do YOU think of your work?  Where do you think your strengths are and what are your weaknesses--where do you need some more work?  You know if you need help with something (both the technical aspects and artistic/philosophic help) you can ask Vampothika or me (or anyone in the forums).  When I started out, Vampothika helped me a LOT; she encouraged me in the direction I was going and pointed out where I needed work.  She was gentle, but not a pushover, and that's what I needed.

You have a wonderful sick mind, Andy; this art is proof of that.  Don't be discouraged by BS (ratings, stars, etc.)

I hear you k10 And try 2 ignore the fact that the ones who rates me down, whilst giving "Lego"-skins 10 Pts. are in fact some of the guys i´m talking 2 daily here... Impressive work....everyone has there own style,so don't let anyone get you down.I have been a member of WC for a while now,and have seen all different kinds of skins.Some I like....some I don't like.But it's the ones that stand out,I like the most,and this is one of them.

crazy, cool imaginative... a few things i would like to see you skin in your next skin:

xp animations.

tree controls

navigation icons and search icons (for vista and w7, there is no template for them in diamond, so you will have to borrow a template from a skin that has skinned them)

drag and drop icons are the wrong set... no biggie

you need to skin your minimized window caption buttons and glyphs.

you need to skin your xp shell icons. my pictures, music, search, movies ect. small and big ones and also

the icon for those areas,

and lastly, would be nice to see you also skin the xp toolbar icons.

okay im not picking on you, so please dont take this the wrong way, i just think, with these things skinned

it would fully complete the wb and make it a great piece of work.  I think you have done a brilliant job for such  a new skinner and your bounderies have no limits, your imagination is truly astonding and i take my hat off to you.

Yes - I agree ... Your work is your own and its beautiful. I adore the smoke effect in the Start panel. My only sadness is there isn't a full suite (cursor, icon package, logon, etc...) --- Let me know when you add those and I'll be showing this theme off on my computers ... OH! Please keep doing more great work ...especially "thing" based and unique themes ... (I'm still waiting for my ROYALTY themed suite, my Daddy's submissive/spanked princess suite --- hurry and do this one somebody!! --- AND, my sizzling hot Diva theme) I'm a screenwriter and filmmaker/starmaker ... not a skinner ... but I have supported WinCustomize and DeviantArtists for many years .... KEEP EM COMING PLEASE!!! Thanks for all your hard work you talented pee-o-ple!!!
