thank you very much w4xpl4y3r, I love hearing that, I hope to continue doing this for quite some time, I have a fantastic 4 (blue colored skin similar to this one) and a silver surfer skin (not similar to anything I've done) in the works so stay tuned! �

I like this one, and so will my son. He loves comics, and he's been using your Captain America skin ever since I downloaded it. Very good work!

Don't worry too much about the skin rating - even I can't understand it sometimes (the screenshot of this wb got 3 stars but the wb itself rec'd 2 1/2 stars?). I definitely get more out of user feedback instead of the initial skin rating - plus I'm not an expert at this, still alot to learn.
This was a good wb skin project as I tried a couple different things like thinner windowframes, a different startpanel style and the taskbar, quicklaunch, windowframe & toolbar buttons are inset embossed into the background making them appear as if they're pushed into the bkgrnd instead of sitting on top of it. I pretty happy with the way it turned out.
FYI - I have a matching rightclick skin coming soon as well.

ok, I have to say, that you do not give yourself enough credit. You do finer work than some of the master skinners. I really like the colors and the added buttons at the top of each Window (especially the transparency on). This is great and as a long time comic fan (almost 25 years now) I really look forward to your comic based skins. Keep up the great work and i will definately keep downloading them.

- Seriously though, I'm nowhere near master level skinner (although I appreciate the compliment - I wish I was at that level, these skins would look 100% better), there is still alot of stuff that I'm not able to do which would make these skins more complete, couple things for sure would be toolbar icons and animations, I have not attempted adding these things yet because my skill level isn't there yet. Plus I haven't been creating wb skins nowhere near long enough to be a pro at it yet. Each skin is an improvement on the last though and if you check out my previous skins you will see a big difference from my first attempts and my more recent skins. I'll keep at it, hoping to improve on every attempt. I like the comic book themed skins alot (because it's easier to pick colors and use fan art in the skins) but I do prefer the more original themed skins on this site, I hope to upload a few wb skins that are more original.

From my limited user experience I've discovered that Red can be a very difficult color
to successfully incorporate into a Skin, but Unclerob, this one's a Beauty!! I appreciate your thinking "outside the box" with your skin designs. Thanks for putting the time in and please, keep 'em comin'!!

Tarney thank you for appreciating this red skin, you are right it's not an easy color to work with on wb skins (especially when it's so tempting to make everything black; probably why I included the black skin substyle); which is probably why you won't find too many red colored skins on in the wb gallery. But it is nice to do something a little different - it's even nicer when other people notice & like it.
