Thanks for taking the time to give me some feedback. If you wanted to change those drop downs, feel free to do so. Or if you are unfamiliar with skinning, I'd be glad to make you a version that doesn't have the segmented look. I'd need some contact info to send it to you.
Personally I love the segmented thing. All of the skins I've done (gee all four of them), have that. But like so much of this stuff, a lot is personal preference.

Netbadger, I've never used one of your earlier wb skins, but this skin from it's appearance & layout looks more like a DX theme design than something for a wb skin!!! 5 STARS for creativity

I don't know what to say. Literally. I really appreciate the 5 stars part, but to be honest I'm not familiar with what a DX Theme is. I did one skin over a year ago, and this makes my third recently. At this point I consider myself just trying to find my way around version 5. So the good feedback is greatly appreciated. I am certainly willing to hear constructive criticism as well.

---- Ah Yes - The moment of truth and truth is you've got a mighty fine skin here. For a 'Darker' skin, the readability is just grand.I like the texture of the gray,kinda fuzzy in a way. The 'nilla ain't no killa' but one can always play - with resolution and the coloring box , is what I say. The dreaded ebay fonts have a new light on them,Amen ole son,Amen once again.Only the judges will award you a star but in my book,your skin is better than others--by far,by far.Though not quite OUTSTANDING,but that's not to say,The "ATTABOY" is yours,at least for today! -----

I like this...it's a nice use of grey...it's got a nice sheen to it.
And it has a throbber...excellent
I like the 'segmented' look myself. Adds some 'depth' to it. Straight flat get boring.

I like it. In fact it's got me thinking about trying to make a skin myself. and that's not something I've considered as a priority until now. Time is so precious. And I've been wondering about the layout on the sides of the screen. This doesen't look like something that's being caused by Window Blinds. How do I get the desktop to do that. I've tryed using other programs in Stardock. But up until now I've been having problems running anyhting but WB without any lose screws. Nice, I like it, and I like the segmented stuff to.

The layout on the sides of the screen is done with nothing but the wallpaper. If you navigate to the skin in your Stardock directory > Object Desktop > WindowBlinds > bladerunner03 you will find the wallpaper I used in the preview in both 1280x1024 and 1024x768 resolution. You will also find two PNG files of the same resolutions. These two PNG files are so you can take any image that you like for wallpaper and put it in the "gray frame" with the drop shadow. You just have to use a graphic program like Paint Shop Pro or PhotoShop that can handle layers. Put your favorite wallpaper on the bottom layer and the gray window frame on the top layer, and then flatten image. Now you have your picture in the bladerunner design, and still have the layout on the sides of the screen.
