NightTrain: Secondary meanings of words are usually just metaphorical extensions. "Race" has a precise anthopological and scientific definition that does not encompass "French". Your citing of a secondary definition is intellectually dishonest. BTW, I'm sure the French wouldn't hate you. Americans who disrespect their own country are fondly embraced.

alright... if you're all so concerned with the 'french' problem, then the best thing to do is.. ignore that detail! so its got the french colors. but if you havn't noticed, USA uses the same colors. so does our regional bus company. i hate the transit company but it doesnt mean im gonna hate a well designened skin because it resembles something else.
everything is really tight and the colors work well together for the interface.. its a great designa nd a great windowblinds conversion.. well done snowy.
the rest of you, get over one small detail and take a look at the rest of hermik's gallery. he's a very talented artist.

Night Train: I have read much stronger "generalizations" about the French from nationally syndicated columnists and commentators. Are they racists too? But never mind, I didn't intend to launch a polemic. It was just a quick, throw away comment to indicate my dislike of the name. It was meant to be taken lightly. I never thought that it would trigger a knee-jerk ad-hominem attack from some lefty whose idea of dialog is to hurl the R-bomb after bending the definition of "race" to suit the occasion. For the record, ccphoenix: I have been to France, even to Normandy as well. The only welcome I found was for my dollars. My opinions are informed by experience and are shared by many others, including some of the relatives of the heros beneath those white crosses and stars.

I've been using this skin for a few days now and love it. The minimize/max buttons took a bit getting used to but that's mostly due to my new center focus cursor. Thanks for posting such a great skin 
(not being able to shut up he says-) As for the name, I don't like it either, it just reminds me again of how wrong we Americans were in going to war and how right France ended up being in their decision.

I dont see what all the fuss over colors and name is ...
I simply like this skin! Its "different" and easy on my eyes to look at , at night when slowly I get to the time my meds kick in and its night night time for me.

I've been many time to U.S b/c of my cie, i found welcome on some places, nothing on others, and some stupid and false patriotic guy.
Each time i tried to understand and learn country specificities, i just understand that i'm just a guy lost somewhere in a country, and i cannot make someone or a race guilty just b/c of misanderstood.
ok i presume that if i have made the same skin call "U.S" you give 5 stars ?
ok it's not the right place to discuss about that... but how a site like wincostumize can accept those kind of wor

Hey, Snowman. Fantastic skin, but I have one problem. The roll/min/max/close buttons seem to be above the bar, and I really have to pay attention to which one I press. Is there a way that I can nudge them down towards the center more??

please, will all of you anti-war hippies go move to california, secede from the US, elect John Kerry as your president, and float away into the ocean? or perhaps you can just move over to france and join your anti-american buddies? because it sure would be a lot easier to get things accomplished without all the lefty democrats dragging their feet every inch of the way and b!tching bloody murder every 5 seconds.

But I'll give it a 10 + rating and esp. for the name "France"! [heck man lets do one for "Paris" next ok!

I like art and esp. the artist that does his best at his work to create such art in whatever form that may be...
The world is still a beautiful place and there are still a lot of just that out there still -[beautiful places]
So keep up the great work and keep a good strong mind for the rest of the stuff that comes along to try and take it from you!
