BadBoyVTEC...I personally approved this for upload. Why? Because I have been an Architect for 30 years and the perspective of the little building is just 'sooo wrong' that the result is perfect.....almost 'Naive Art'.
One thing to remember, works [walls] that ARE approved for display are moderated for 'appeal', and, as you can see by comments other than your own, it HAS appealed to people.
If and when you have achieved the correct 'eye-closure' to enable a creation of genius feel free to submit it. I, and the other admins will evaluate IT'S appeal...

Some people might not understand, but the whole concept of this piece is to show more-less a design similar to what every artist probably started off as a child.
In my art class waaayyyyy back in elementary, this is what most of the kids will draw when asked to make a landscape. It was either this or the big boat on the sea.
Thos of you that did that will know what I'm talking about. LOL

I cannot stand the attitude that you people express, when someone
expresses their opinion (critical or non). You are being proud and mean
and rude. And even though some of your works are fine, some are not
worthy to even be published on the internet (if that would be possible
to enforce), as this piece of your NOT-work you are so proud of.
And secondly, if you do not appreciate the opinion of people who aren't
submitting their work, than I really do not understand your reason of
creating something for them. Why it doesn't bother you their
(people who do not submitt) praise, then?
Note one more thing: even the bragging "architect" who is letting
everybody know that he's the one allowing or banning submittions
(as if that matters in any way) isn't any great
artist at all (as far as I've had the chance to see his "pieces"). So

Well Phku, if you allowed your eyes to read beyond the millions of pixels that flash against your screen, then you will realize that no one here has a problem with the comments, regardless if they are to say GOOD or BAD. I welcome all comments as you might read on all of my designs. But one thing is to comment on a person's work and say "I like this" or "I don�t like this" and another thing is to say "This is the crappiest design I've seen and I can do better with my eyes close"...Now, doesn�t that sounds more that the "bragging" issue you are trying to elaborate.

Art is definately in the eye of the beholder !! I like the simple, uncluttered rustic scene, and I even appreciate the look of the barn.
The style reminds me of an artist I studied in college (can't remember his name, but really liked his works).
Photorealistic works are great, but sometimes something that looks more like a painting can really grab you!!

personally i dont really like this wall, not that it was bad, just not my cup of tea.... But notice how i did not come out and say 'hey a_67, ur work sux!" If i dont have something nice to say i wont say it.... And also if i dont like something i wont lie and say i do. Thats why u notce no bolstering, or derogatory comments on this piece from me.
