Excellent...really captured the atmosphere and simplicity......surprised the barman had never heard of Campari though......was the hip drink to have in your bar in the sixties here....

Yes, I guess Wisconsin hasn't past the no smoking in all public places, yet!!! Since it is now going on almost 2 years that Anna and I have quit smoking, for when we are with others who do smoke, we take out our *fake cigarettes* ( very short pencils, which we can also draw with!) and they do the trick for us!!! 
surprised the barman had never heard of Campari though......was the hip drink to have in your bar in the sixties here....
This bartender was in her late 20's early 30's....as also I think the owners are. So far the 4 bars we have visited, non of them have heard of Campari!!

Looks like most of the bars out in the sticks down here in Illinois. If it is like those your pretty much limited to a shot and a beer. Most "mixoligists" wouldn't look for work in these out of the way places. Marvelous pic by the way.
