Thanks lgspence. I stopped at 1280x1024 as was at a combined 38 hours of rendering already, for a 1600x1200 would be about a 2 day render.( with my crappy litle 2.4 gig celeron cpu I can't do much more than surf the web when rendering.)

There is one good thing about having Vista...It seems that any wallpaper you use will stretch to fit the screen.�

freaking gorgeous....... but gotta chime in on bigger resolutions. People aren't buying smaller displays. A 1600 would have been great.

I have started a 1600x1200 render, initial time shows 2 days 5 hours.
No Vista here but on XP the wall changer in WB does a better job stretching walls than XP does.
And a new box to put it in
Any suggestions on a good wide screen size to possible include and willingness to test it pre release.

Okie dokie, the 1600 render is at 66% so it should be done any day now , will then render at 1920x1200 and update wall.

OK, change of plans, am going to render 1920 now, that 66% of the 1600 render is lost, GD explorer crash that completely locked system up, %$#@
