Oh my! Spent the night in there in the full moon, hid 'til they closed the gate and went home, watched the women and children washing in the river. Semi-precious stones and tiny metal tracery for vines and jeweled fruit and flowers covering the marble... Mumtaj has the tomb-of-tombs. Thank you for this. There is no place like India, truly. Namascar, babu.

Thanks Guys! I have to be honest here. I would not have made the trip except for the fact that I was in Pune (east of Mumbay) on business and took the opportunity to fly to Delhi after that 
I was told that you can't leave India until you see Taj 
My wife went on this trip with me and we had a wonderful time. Shot about 700 pics and did some great shopping too. People were so wonderful and food was absolutely fantastic. Seldomseen, I bet you got an awesome view during the moonlit night. I wish I have thought of it Thank you both for your complimentary comments.
