Couldn't afford photoshop (over $700) so Spydey recommended Paint Shop Pro 9 ($125) and I have been very happy with it. I believe, from what others say, that the images are not as tight in PSP9 as they are in Photoshop, but right now I need the extra $500+

Thank you, Corky_O. It does go well for most of my stuff (gray). I suppose neutral colors are generally safe.
