And keep telling yourself that. The one thing i do know about is design. I may not be able to create the art but i know what works and what doesn't work. Let's put it another way - you could never work for The Skins Factory. I never liked your releases but i always respected the fact that you created skins and worked hard on them. Now i don't like your work or you

Now let's look at "our" skin (since this is our artwork) and see what's wrong with it from a design standpoint and the fact that it's supposed to be a port.
1. you've lightened everything so now it doesn't match the WMP skin. 2. you've used slider controls as a background image for text. why? All you've done is made the start menu text hard to read and it looks too busy. So much for "ease-of-use". 3. The toolbar buttons look slapped on and distorted on the tool bar. I could go on and on. This looks like a Frankenstein skin - the only thing missing are stiches, staples and 2 electrode knobs on the sides of the start menu. "It's Alive! It's ALIVE"

You're still taking copyrighted art and displaying it modified without the artist's permission. You need to read about copyright laws. We own the rights to our art and have the right for them not to be displayed in a manner we feel dilutes it.

uhhh Nick - these are our graphics. He is not the artist and you need to learn how copyrights work. Just because this place has its own definition of what constitutes copyright infringment doesn't mean that's the way it is.

Well, not sure if I get the commotion but 2 comments:
One, nice customization.
Two, I think its needs some more contrast, even though it matches the WMP skin perrrfectly, I think if it was more contrasty it would be more moewy.
Also, I didn't know ebay had a system tray icon. It that an alert system for something you sell or buy on eBay?
