Oops, one more thing I forgot to add on this screenie. I chose the placements of the widgets to really highlight the wall, to make it seem like that ray of 'pink hope' was emanating from the bottom left corner. That was why the OD was placed where it was as well as the desktop icons in formation on the bottom right. I wanted symmetry with a shred of randomness, a slight contemplation, but the feeling that not all hope is lost. Some people put screenies up just to show them. I am guilty of that one myself. All of the ones that have been noteworthy, however, have a history and meaning that seem to just be apparent in the shot. Our screens are reflections of our moods and personalities. This one represents a turning point of sorts in my life. I'm 34 tomorrow. Perhaps that is why.

Very elegant looking. Happy birthday. 34? You're still a spring chicken. I can't even remember being 34 anymore.

Im glad I made that rainy have a Black view choice now.

This is really a nice shot Angel. I dont know if too many would understand the time and effort some put into a screen shot. Its easy to get a suite and pop it on the desktop. Not even sure most would understand your detailed description. I do.

And I enjoy reading how others arrive at their choices...if there was an example of why I look at screen shots...this is why.

I would have said I "enjoyed" it IF you had served Tea with it though. lol

*Hands Karen some Earl Grey* I am so glad you like it and understand all the why's etc. Thanks for reading that whole thing. My eyes crossed after I wrote it. Thanks Chuck... 34 a spring chicken? On my event list I wrote "happy birthday, you're 34 and old." LOL. Thanks Pup. Folks are taking me out to dinner tonight to celebrate my last year before the big 3...5... which I am dreading even more. I asked them to find a place where I can order a whole steamed 3 pound Maine lobster in Old Bay seasoning. I'm gonna have fun with the cracker tonight. Karen, I'm glad you added a black color scheme to your Rainy. Now it goes with so many different walls... especially that Et in Terrarum Ego wall I used for Redden. Thanks for updating your Rainies. It's nice not having to fiddle with the months.

Angel...I have a duaghter who is 32!! So if you are old...then OH MY GAWD I must be ancient!!! Enjoy your birthdays...the alternative sucks!

Goth doesn't have to be all black, you know. True Goth has vibrant, deep reds and purples, amber and emerald green.

Oh , and well done on the screenie!
