Apologies to any for whom the widget doesn't work as it should for other reasons. If it's possible I wonder if anyone could do me a favour as I can't diagnose the problem without some more information... If you could, import the widget into dx and run it from there and see if you get any error messages or whatnot. It appears as tho the widget is finding your windowblinds install directory ok, and the skin sub folders, but then is falling down on reading or even finding the skin files. If anyone is feeling especially helpful they could email me and I could maybe send them some kind of debugging special edition of the widget to try and track down the problem, or maybe even initiate an IM problem solving session.
Also OS, WindlowBlinds and DX version information might be useful to know.
I appreciate the feedback so far and it would be great to get this working for everyone (needless to say it works without a hitch on my system). Thanks in advance to anyone willing to help further

All the people for whom the preview isnt showing...do you have windows explorer set to hide file extensions for known file types? I just changed my settings to that as a test and sure enough the substyles didnt show up and the preview didnt show. Anyway, if that's the reason, it should be a simple enough fix once I get my head round it. Hope to get this updated within a few hours...let me put the kettle on first...

GOKU - got your mail, but I will answer here in case other ppl don't know - in windows explorer, tools menu button, folder options..., "view" tab, you will find a checkbox about halfway down
