I think it's plenty long enough, and the animations are really smooth. It's a great cursor, definitely worth downloading and using!

One of my all time faves.... especially the blue... 
When using for work... it's one of the very few fun ones I use... as it's so precise, non distracting & non bulky... great design..

Here I am, years later, doing searches on some of the all-time greats and how did I miss this cursor back then? Well, I've got it now, thank you very much Javier! Great work!

first try, as really dem too small and saber blade not long enough. Needs some animation as well for normal pointing and not only on a link, pulsating even. Good effort still....
