It's alright blaze. It carries some kind of religious symbolism, specially for the Satanists (not my case), who use it much the same way as the Pythagoreans use it one-point-up (like you expected). The Pythagorean pentagram means "health", whilst for the Satanists it means "Hell", and, if you are imaginative enough, you could devise a goat's head, with horns and everything, within the pointed down star. In my case, I wanted to show the symbolism of the domain Windows, and what it represents, has over almost the entire technological world of computing. Hope I've helped.

Very nicely done , and yes there is no "wrong" way for it to face it just depends on wich meanin' your lookin to convey.
