Hey Hog56, using a grapics program will do a better job. I use Irfanview and Gimp2.2, both are free and do a much better job decreasing to 16 colors.

No!!!! download ACDSee 7....its the best at decreasing colors!

I gave it a try, both irfanview and gimp do a better job.

I gave all packages a try and got the same result,the finished bootskin was alright in the preview but on start-up it looked like a photo negative please help.
