CP, it's even the plus version, got a regular and a tab dock. No quick launch in the taskbar! So it took a year.

This should absolutely be pulled until it is fixed. Period. I download and try a LOT of .dreams, and I never have problems with any of them, specifically the ones that folks complain about having a bad loop in them. I have found that 99.9% of the time, the complaining users have substandard hardware, and that is the problem. I happen to be using an nVidia 7950 GTX (PCI-X, 256 megs RAM) video card, and I never have issues with any graphic intensive programs that I use. This Halloween .dream is the first one I have ever tried that I experience a VERY pronounced loop/restart in it. Not to mention the ~2 second run-time of the .dream is a joke. If I was the author of this .dream I would actually be embarrassed to release it, the loop is so pronounced, and the run-time is too short. It just feels like a very scratched record (if you are old enough to know what a record is, hehe) skipping over and over. So, here is my suggestion/thought: This would have been one of the BEST .dreams ever (very much like Liquid Dream which absolutely blew me away) if was created as a dynamic .dream as opposed to a regular looping .dream. And the only change that would be needed is to have the bats fly around dynamically and randomly from different areas of the screen, also maybe singley instead of in a big group. All the other animation is fine.
Now, do NOT start the whole "don't use it if you don't like it" crap, because I don't want to hear it, and it is just a quick, easy excuse to dismiss the issue. Anything that is released as a Premium Suite, including the .dream, should be miles apart from the regular suites/.dreams. From the screenshots, it seems as if the WB, Icons, etc. in this Suite meet those standards, but the .dream is an embarrassment to the whole suite. And I DO understand that the .dream was released free, but since it matches the Suite, it should meet the same high standards that a Premium Suite should have applied to it before requiring money for it.
I would ask, very humbly, that the author please fix the .dream with the suggestions that I made above. The entire Suite would then, without quesion, be worth every penny of the $19.95 subscription fee, if not more. I look forward, with fingers crossed, for this fix to be made.

It's like the toy at the bottom the cereal box for me. I subscribe to WC for other reasons, and I buy the premium suites because I want them.
I can't comment on the deam itself . . I only have Vista Business.

Curtis, I completely missed that. Thanks good friend.

RottGutt is correct, there is an error with the dream. We are uploading a fixed version right now
Update: Fixed version uploaded. Thanks for catching that. Make sure to delete the Halloween dream from C:\ProgramData\Stardock\DeskScapes\ExtractedData before running the new one.

Yeah, was a borked upload. We don't even have a version of it that looks like that. The file is actually about 3 times of what showed up. I blame it on the gremlins.
The .dream is not part of any premium anything, btw. It was released for free for anyone who has Vista Ultimate and wants to use it.

Is what I get when I try to run the weather gadget. This is on Vista Ultimate x64.
Magus
Edit: It magically fixed itself with a reboot.
