Bizarre this am to discover some hacker has taken over the homepage of SkinArtistry - & maliciously so - a facetious hack page comes up at present

It is simply someone with a talent for cracking passwords. Bones2112 can't spend the time right now fighting the morons. This has been going on for about a year now. Earlier this year it was real hackers with a purpose. The latest geniuses are just kids with nothing better to do. Right now, I am locked out of the server by the bastards.

Okay, first I will say that it is pretty stupid.
I must say this, though... it is kind of ironic (even if stupid and childish, and I do NOT condone it) that a skins site, was, erm, skinned.
No seriously, I really think it is dumb, but I had to mention that... it came to mind. Please don't roast me up for it, like I said, it just came to mind.

It still just boggles my mind that there are people out there who have nothing better to do than to destroy other people's hard work. They think it's funny, but it's just pathetic. Plain and simple, it's just pathetic.

I agree, Jinny. I just hope that iNSoMNiA won't trash any more places. If the same energy was spent making a great new skin or artwork I think it would show a great deal more prowess at the keys and add to ones reputation in a much better way. Trashing a site is just another form of vandalism, and if it causes data damage and/or access problems it should be viewed as a form of terrorism- and punished as such.

First rule when dealing with a hacker is never repeat their name. They are seeking notoriety and just mentioning a name is all they really want.

Just went to SA and can't get onto the site. Error 404: The document you requested is not found. I can understand why Tom had to shut the site down.

It's probably just down for good now. Sucks. I've always been worried that people would hack my site. But then I remember that nobody goes to my site, so I'm probably safe.
