permanent widgets

Thursday, January 19, 2006 by Will Stach | Discussion: Widget talk

how do you keep widgets on so they automatically load all the time? Mine go away every time I log on, restart, or shut down the computer. How do you get them to stay there permenantley? I'm using DesktopX. Is there some kind of setting to switch them to permenant mode or something?

once you have them all loaded the way you want, are you saving everything as a new desktopx theme? do you have dtx run at startup?

Have you set them to start automatically?

Right click the widget, select Properties then check the "Run automatically when Windows starts" option on the Appearance tab.
